Special discounted accommodation rates have been organised at the Conference Venue - Holiday Inn Surfers Paradise.  These rates are only available by booking on the Conference Registration & Accommodation Booking Form.  Bookings are still available.

To confirm your accommodation, either one night’s accommodation deposit or a credit card number (to be provided to the hotel) MUST be provided.  If this is not received, accommodation cannot be booked.  All incidentals are payable by you upon check out.  If you do not show you will be charged for the booking.  No changes will be accepted after 3 July 2008.

Accommodation will be allocated in order of receipt of bookings and payment.

Registration and its accompanying payment are required before an accommodation booking will be made.

Arrival Time

Please indicate on the Registration & Accommodation form your estimated time of arrival at the hotel. Check in time is usually between 1.00 – 3.00pm. Should you wish to guarantee your room is ready before the hotel check in time, it is recommended that you book and pay for the room for the evening prior to your arrival.

PAYMENT

Deposit

To ensure reservation of your preferred accommodation, you MUST provide either one night’s deposit or a credit card to guarantee your booking.  If this is not provided, your accommodation CANNOT be booked.

If providing a credit card, your credit card details will be passed on to the hotel as a guarantee. The hotel may not initially deduct a deposit payment from your credit card but may charge you full payment at the time of check-out. Bookings cannot and will not be made until your payment or credit card details are received. Room rates are in Australian Dollars and include GST.

Cancellation of Accommodation Booking or No Show

Cancellations must be advised in writing to the Conference Office prior to Wednesday 11 June 2008.   The deposit will be forfeited for all cancellations received after Wednesday 11 June 2008 or if you fail to show at the hotel.
