REGISTERING
You can register in three ways: online, by fax or by
post. Only one form per person.
Please be aware that it is conference policy that
registrations and accommodation MUST be paid for prior
to the start of the conference.
MEMBER RATES
The Conference Organising Committee is delighted to offer the discounted
member rates to SSI financial members.
ISA members
are also invited to register at SSI member rates. This invitation is
in recognition of the founding role that ISA has played in the
formation of the SSI and in context of a proposed full merger of the
two organisations.
Membership Benefits of the Spatial Sciences Institute (SSI)
The Spatial Sciences Institute is a national
professional organisation representing the interests of all people
involved in the spatial community and providing an identity for
people working in the spatial information industry. The
specialist and complementary nature of the spatial sciences is a

support and inform professionals of new and innovative solutions to
meet the new and increasing demands placed on spatial professionals.

Registration Confirmation/Tax Invoice
Once your registration form has been received it will be processed
and a confirmation letter emailed to you generally within 10 working
days (this may be higher at peak registration time). A tax invoice
will also be emailed to you. Payment is required to be finalised
prior to attendance at the Conference.
Alterations
Alterations to your registration will not be accepted over the
telephone – they must be in writing and can be sent by the following

Multiple changes or sharing of registrations will incur a $25 per
change/person additional fee.
Cancellation & Refund Policy:
Cancellations must be advised in writing to the Conference Office.
Cancellations up to Thursday 26 June 2008 will receive a
refund of registration fees, less an administrative charge of $110.
Refunds after this date will be at the discretion of the Organising
Committee. Registrations are transferable to a colleague at any time
prior to the Conference provided the Conference Office is advised in
writing. Multiple changes or sharing of registrations will incur a
$25 per change/person additional fee. Cancelled social function
tickets are refundable prior to Thursday 26 June 2008.
Tickets cannot be returned for reselling or refunded after this
date.
Onsite Registration
If you have not registered by Tuesday 15 July 2008 you will
need to register onsite. The Registration Desk will be open from
8.00am on Thursday 17 July 2008. Onsite registrants are not
guaranteed a Conference Satchel nor social function tickets.
