A relaxing and interesting Accompanying Persons Programme is available to partners of registered delegates.

As tickets will not be automatically allocated, you MUST indicate on your registration form if you will be attending these events.

Accompanying Persons Tour 1 – High Tea at Palazzo Versace (Half Day)

Enjoy high tea at the world’s first Palazzo Versace Hotel. Soak in the elegant surroundings as you enjoy the pure luxury of High Tea. Then spend some time shopping at the waterfront Marina Mirage shopping centre where designer boutiques stock the world’s top fashion labels. Relax in the luxury that is not just for the rich and famous!

Departing:                 Meet at Conference Registration Desk at 11.15am for bus departure

Accompanying Persons Tour 2 – Gold Coast Sight Seeing & Aqua Duck (Half Day)

Depart Holiday Inn to Main Beach and the Spit (one of the Gold Coasts best surfing points) to Broadbeach, Mermaid Beach past multi-million dollar homes, with a stop for morning/afternoon tea at Burleigh heads, home of the Quick Silver Pro surfing tournament. Visit a Prize Home where you can see how the rich on the Gold Coast live and perhaps purchase a ticket to win the luxury home. Before returning to the hotel, ride the Aqua Duck (an amphibious vehicle) for a trip around the streets and canals of Surfers Paradise.

Accompanying Persons Tour 3 – Hot Air Ballooning & Champagne Breakfast

Always wanted to fly in a Hot Air Balloon?  Well, here’s your chance.  Departing early (approx. 4.45am), you will travel to the balloon launch site to watch the amazing hot air balloon inflation display.  Hop on board to experience the unique sensation of your first hot air balloon ride, floating gently above the spectacular Gold Coast Hinterland.  So much to see, but often it's the sensation of floating silently over this picturesque landscape at sunrise for your 30 minute hot air balloon flight that really makes this such a special time. After landing, you can help pack up the balloon and then it’s off to O’Reilly’s Grand Homestead for a filling cooked champagne breakfast.  After breakfast, your coach will return you to the hotel.

Accompanying Persons Tour 4 – Mt Tamborine (Half Day)

Set in a tranquil mountaintop rainforest environment, Mt Tamborine is an eclectic mix of National Parks, boutique wineries, bed & breakfasts, antique shops and art and craft galleries. This quaint township is nestled in the hinterland only 25 minutes from Surfers Paradise and offers a diverse range of activities from bushwalking in a subtropical rainforest alive with birdcalls, to shopping, wine and cheese tasting or relaxing over great food at one of the many local wineries. You will enjoy a little of each of these on this tour.

Accompanying Persons Tour 5 – O'Reilly's Lamington National Park (Full Day)

O'Reilly's Rainforest Retreat is nestled in subtropical rainforest surrounded by World Heritage listed Lamington National Park. Travel via Canungra Valley Vineyard where you will experience wine tasting and a leisurely picnic basket lunch in the picturesque grounds. Feed the Crimson Lorikeets and King Parrots and experience the Tree Top Walk. The first of its kind in Australia, it is 180 metres in length and is made up of 9 suspension bridges, with much of the walkway being 15 metres above the ground and allows you to walk through the canopy to see flowering and fruiting trees and vines, the epiphytic orchids and ferns and the birds and animals that inhabit the tree tops. On the way back to Surfers Paradise, you will drop in to a local Alpaca farm and meet these gorgeous creatures.
